2. Under Print Quality on the Finishing tab, select an option other than Best Quality.
3. Click OK, and then click OK in the Printer setup window 

Number of fonts :
The printing may be slow because there are too many fonts are included. In order to increase the printing speed, customize the fonts on reports and the fonts on the forms to include just one or two fonts. For information on customizing fonts, search the in product help for fonts. 

Font settings 
1. Go to the File menu and click Printer Setup.
1. Click the Options button next to the printer window.
2. On the Finishing tab, click the Details button.
3. Under Font Settings, clear the Send TrueType as Bitmaps checkbox.
4. Click OK, click OK again in the Properties window, and then click OK again in the Printer setup window. 

Note: Setting dithering to "none" will sometimes increase print speed. See the documentation that came with your printer for details on changing dithering options.
