What is Error 59.F0?
This error occurs when there is a problem with the printer's internal motor. The primary cause of this error is a failure in transfer alienation. A transfer alienation failure occurs when the ITB becomes stuck and is unable to rotate. Another possible cause of error 59.F0 is a problem with the SR9 sensor. This sensor is a key component of the transfer-roller-disengagement sensor, also known as Sensor K.
Causes of the Error 59.F0
The 59.F0 error on your HP printer could be caused by the ITB becoming trapped and unable to rotate freely. Furthermore, there may be some issues with the SR9 sensor. Both of these components are critical to the printer machine's operation.

Here is a list of the other possible causes of this error:
- It is possible that the transfer alienation has failed. This could mean that the ITB is unable to fully rotate.
- There could also be a problem with the SR9 sensor that needs to be resolved.
- There could be a problem with your printer's internal motor.
Before attempting any major repairs, try the most basic method of resolving the issue. If you're lucky, it should be resolved; otherwise, you'll have to resort to more complex procedures.
Procedure 1: Reset the Printer
- Reset the printer's configuration.
- Take out the Surge Protector.
If the issues remain unresolved, proceed to the next method.
Procedure 2: Reset the ITB
- Restart the ITB.
- Examine the internal connections of the ITB, such as the connection between the ITB and the transfer-roller-disengagement sensor, which is located at connector J19, and the connection between the ITB and the DC controller PCA, which is located at connector J128.
Procedure 3: Test the ITB
- If the error persists, you should remove the ITB completely and manually test the ITB gear and the flag. How should this be done?
- When you turn the white gear, look for any movement in the flag.
- If the flag is damaged, it is imperative that the ITB be replaced.
- But what if the flag and ITB gear is in perfect working order? Look for the SR9 Sensor. To perform the Manual Sensor Test, follow the steps outlined below.
- Remove the ITB gear, look for the Sensor SR9 inside the ITB cavity, and look through the control panel.
- To access the diagnostics menu, press the 'Home' button and then the down arrow.
- Click the OK button, then choose Manual Sensor Test and click OK.
- Examine the inside of the ITB cavity, then release the SR9 flag and look at the display for the sensor response when you press the flag. The sensor should be able to switch between 0 and 1. If the toggle does not work, the sensor needs to be replaced.
